Enterprise is a city in the southeastern part of Coffee and Dale Counties in the southeastern part of Alabama.

Enterprise is famous for the Boll Weevil Monument. This large monument located in the town square, is of a woman holding a Boll Weevil. The city's agriculture history was originally in cotton. In 1915 an infestation of the Boll Weevil resulted in the destruction of most of the cotton in Coffee County. This travesty forced Enterprise to diversify, and so began a new phase of farming, starting with peanuts. The town soon had more prosperity than had ever come from cotton alone. Only two years later Coffee County became the leading producer of peanuts in the nation. The people of Enterprise erected the monument in 1919 as a reminder of how the city adjusted in the face of adversity. It is thought to be the only monument is the world to an agricultural pest.

Fort Rucker is an Army base right outside of Enterprise. It is the home of Army Aviation.
