There are two main attractions in Avondale. The Phoenix International Raceway is a famous auto racing facility and home to the annual NASCAR Winston Cup Series, Indy Racing League, and Copper World Classic. The Coldwater Golf Club is an 18-hole regulation length golf course that prides itself upon a spectacular combination of large shaped features, elevated tees, deep swales and cascading fairways.
