Cave Creek is a town in Maricopa County, Arizona. It is located north of Scottsdale in a central position within the state.

International Media attention was given to Cave Creek in June of 2009 when the drawing of cards decided a Town Council vote. As is lawful under the Arizona State Constitution, a game of chance can be used to break ties. The victory lay with Adam Trenk, a 25-year-old law student, who won over incumbent Town Council member Tom McGuire.
