Sedona is a city that straddles the county line between Coconino and Yavapai counties in Arizona. It is located northern central part of the state just south of Flagstaff and sits at an elevation of 4,500 feet. Sedona is named after Sedona Miller Schnebly the wife of the city's first postmaster, who was celebrated for her hospitality and industriousness.

The greatest attraction in Sedona is the red sandstone formations known as the Red Rocks of Sedona.
