Winslow is a small town in Navajo County in the northern region of the state of Arizona. A popular tourist site in Winslow is a 2 story corner building painted by muralist John Pugh, celebrating the corner depicted in the song "Take It Easy", made famous by "The Eagles”. “Standing on the corner in Winslow Arizona...” has put the city on the map and draws thousands of tourists each year to stand and be photographed. An annual Standing on the Corner Festival hosts international musicians and includes singing competitions, talent shows, auctions and a variety of live music.
