North Little Rock is a city in Pulaski County in Arkansas. It is located across the Arkansas River from Little Rock in the central part of the state. North Little Rock, Little Rock and Conway are the main anchors of the six-county Little Rock–North Little Rock–Conway Metropolitan Statistical Area.

North Little Rock attracts visitors due to its top quality sporting venues and teams, the majority of which are based in and around the Verizon Arena. The Verizon Arena opened in 1999 as Alltel Arena. Today it features a seating capacity of 18,000 and meeting and conference spaces of 28,000 square feet. One of the largest municipal parks in the United States however is Burns Park, with close to 1,600 acres of lighted ball fields, hiking trails, fishing, and a 36-hole championship golf course. The unique Urban Equestrian Trail, Scenic River Trail and Emerald Park Mountain Bike accompany many multi use trails that fill the area with sporting and recreational opportunities.

Tourist attractions also include the photogenic Old Mill, seen in the classic movie "Gone with the Wind", a water theme park and McCain Mall, the largest shopping center in central Arkansas.
