San Francisco is the fourth most populated city in the State of California and the second most densely populated major city in the country. It was also one of the first cities in California to be incorporated, and is the only consolidated city-county in the state of California. It is located centrally on the western coast of California and is an economic and residential base in the Bay Area. It is known for having more than 50 steep rolling hills within the city limits. San Francisco's tallest hill is Mount Davidson at 925 feet and it is capped with a 103 foot tall cross. The most recognizable landmark in San Francisco and one of the most famous bridges in the world is the Golden Gate Bridge. It has been called one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World and is the first thing you see of San Francisco if arriving from the north.

Although the city is filled with a vast array of restaurants, Sushi is perhaps the most plentiful. Sushi bars occupy almost every street corner and the Richmond has a concentration of excellent sushi restaurants.

Other attractions not be missed include the gorgeous Palace of Fine Arts, the Alamo Square Park and the Transamerica Pyramid, the tallest and most recognizable building in the San Francisco skyline. Also of interest is the famous stretch of Lombard Street between Hyde & Leavenworth which stakes its claim to be the (nearly) crookedest street in America.
