Grand Junction is a Home Rule Municipality that is the county seat and the most populous city of Mesa County in the state of Colorado. It is located 247 miles west-southwest of Denver along the Colorado River.

The City of Grand Junction is the largest city in western Colorado and serves as a major commercial and transportation hub within the large area between the Green River and the Continental Divide.
