Lakewood is a Home Rule Municipality in Jefferson County in the state of Colorado. It is located 7 miles west of Denver and part of the Denver-Aurora-Broomfield, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area. The event includes Fresh Roasted Green Chiles, Spanish Colonial Art Aztec & Flamenco Dancers, Chile Cook-Off, and Kid’s Art Activities including Piñatas, Cultural Art Demonstrations, Salsa Lessons and Music & Entertainment.

The Annual Cider Days harvest festival combines the traditions of the past with family fun and entertainment. Cider booths serve cider by the glass or gallon and you can either bring apples from home or buy them at the event and make fresh apple cider to take home using festival presses. Cider Days has something for all ages including live entertainment, barrel train rides, apple bake-off, face painting, delicious eats and treats, Art and Craft Booths, hayrides, and festive food and drink.

The Lakewood Country Club is a premier private urban golf course. This Tom Bendelow and Donald Ross design is one of Colorado's oldest golf courses and today proudly displays excellent conditioning on challenging and perfect greens. Facilities include an upgraded irrigation system, new pool, exercise, and snack bar building, a new 210,000 gallon competition and recreational pool, and a kiddie pool adjacent to a new playground. The Lakewood Golf Pro Shop offers complete professional services including tournament events, merchandise, storage, lockers, lessons and refreshments.
