Dagsboro is a town in Sussex County in the state of Delaware. It is located 65 miles south of Vineland, New Jersey and 90 miles south-east of Baltimore, Maryland. Dagsboro resides in southern central Delaware and is part of the Seaford, Delaware Micropolitan Statistical Area.

The town was founded in 1747 and has been known as Blackfoot Town, Dagsbury and Dagsborough. It was incorporated as Dagsboro in the early 1900s, named for General John Dagworthy, a Brigadier General of the Sussex County Militia during the American Revolutionary War. Today this quiet town is energized in summer by the beach traffic using Delaware Route 26.

Dagsboro is home to Prince George's Chapel, an historic church maintained by the state of Delaware as a museum. The Chapel was received by the Worcester Parish of the Church of England on June 30, 1757 and sits on two acres of land. The Chapel was named for Prince George, who later became King George III of England and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. The cemetery is the site of the grave of General John Dagworthy.

Dagsboro has access to a plethora of Southern Delaware attractions including many beaches along Delaware Bay. Outdoor activities range from whale and dolphin watching to beachcombing, nature walks, photography opportunities, canoeing, and bicycling. Southern Delaware is part of the Atlantic Flyway and therefore home to a variety of migratory birds. Birdwatchers come to Delaware’s forests, fields, freshwater ponds and coastal marshes to view songbirds, waterfowls, and raptors.

The Katie Helm Park is situated in the middle of town and has a modern children’s playground along with great picnicking and recreational areas.
