Warner Robins is a city in both Houston and Peach County’s in the state of Georgia. It is geographically located in the heart of Georgia, 100 miles south of the state capital Atlanta and has its own metropolitan statistical area, the Warner Robins metropolitan area.

The city began as a train stop for local farmers and was originally named York, and then Wellston. During World War II the town became a military base and took a new name in honour of Brigadier General Augustine Warner Robins. Today the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center base is the state's largest employer in one location with more than 25,000 personnel. Warner Robins is nicknamed the "International City" due to the high number of residents that come from around the world to attend the Robins Air Force Base.

The Museum of Aviation honours the history of military aviation and is located next to the air force base. This facility includes the Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame and the Robert L. Scott Vistascope theatre. The museum is currently is the second-largest aviation museum in the country and exhibits military memorabilia , airplanes and ground vehicles, the Tuskegee Airmen and Operation Desert Storm. The Museum offers a wide variety of science, technology, engineering and mathematics education programs with special emphasis on aerospace applications. It also hosts several community events each year including the Museum of Aviation Marathon, half Marathon and 5km race, the hall of fame banquet, Wings and wheels car show, model aircraft contests and the Tour de Moose.
