Hana is a census-designated place in Maui County on Maui Island in the American state of Hawaii. Hana is located at the eastern end of the island and is one of the most isolated communities in the state accessible mainly via the Hana Highway.

Haleakala rises to 10,023 feet, with a decent to the valley floor of 1,400 feet to 3,000 feet. Other attractions in the park include driving up to the Summit, visiting the ranger station, attending programs on natural and cultural history and enjoying the many swimming holes and scenic beauty of Kipahulu.
