Honolulu is the capital of and the most populous city in the American state of Hawaii. It is located in Honolulu County and sits at the southern edge of the Island of Oahu.

World class hotels such as the Hilton, Sheraton and Hyatt operate along the iconic Waikiki Beach, which is known as one of the world’s most famous beach resorts.

Honolulu’s unique flora is displayed across several gardens. Among them are the Foster Botanical Garden, Lili?uokalani Botanical Garden and the Walker Estate. Honolulu is also home to the annual Hawaii International Film Festival, the largest "East meets West" style film festival of its sort in the United States. Other cultural attractions include Doris Duke Theatre, The Contemporary Museum , Bishop Museum, Hawaii State Art Museum and The Honolulu Academy of Arts, which contains the largest collection of Asian and Western art in Hawaii.

Tourist attractions in and around the city also include the Aloha Tower, Diamond Head, Hanauma Bay, Honolulu Zoo, ?Iolani Palace, Lyon Arboretum, Waikiki Aquarium and Waikiki Beach.
