Waikiki is a neighbourhood of Honolulu, in the City and County of Honolulu, on the island of O?ahu, in the American State of Hawaii. It is located on the islands south shore between Honolulu International Airport and Diamond Head.

Many fine dining restaurants, casual eateries, entertainment and recreational facilities are located within a few blocks and are easily accessible by foot.

Events are held year round on Waikiki Beach’s beautiful white sands including surf competitions, outdoor performances, hula dancing and outrigger canoe races. Honolulu is also home to the annual Hawaii International Film Festival, the largest "East meets West" style film festival of its sort in the United States.

Honolulu’s unique flora is displayed across several gardens. Among them are the Foster Botanical Garden, Liliuokalani Botanical Garden and the Walker Estate. Other attractions in and around Waikiki include Kapi?olani Park, Aloha Tower, Diamond Head, Hanauma Bay, Honolulu Zoo, Iolani Palace, Lyon Arboretum, The Honolulu Academy of Arts, Waikiki Aquarium, Fort de Russy Military Reservation, Kahanamoku Lagoon, Kuhio Beach Park, and Ala Wai Harbor.
