Twin Falls is a city in and the county seat of Twin Falls County in the state of Idaho. It is located in south-central Idaho 83 miles south of Sun Valley. Twin Falls is the principal city of the Twin Falls, ID Micropolitan Statistical Area, which includes both Jerome and Twin Falls Counties.

Twin Falls sits on the Snake River Canyon and has three waterfalls in the immediate area. Shoshone Falls sits five miles east of the city whilst Pillar Falls is about 1.5 miles upstream from the Perrine Bridge. The city takes its name from Twin Falls which is located upstream of Shoshone Falls.

Shoshone Falls is referred to as the Niagara of the West. It is 212 feet high and about 900 feet wide, making it taller than Niagara Falls by about 36 feet.

The Perrine Bridge crosses the Snake River Canyon just north of the city. The Bridge is known internationally as being one of the few artificial structures worldwide where BASE jumping is legal. Several BASE jumping records have been set here.

The City of Rocks is a National Reserve popular with Mountain bikers. Unique Granite rock formations are aged at more than two billion years old. This iconic riding playground also contains many climbing and hiking trails.

Other attractions in and around the city include Cactus Petes Resort Casino, City of Lakes National Reserve, Magic Valley Speedway, Miracle Hot Springs and the Twin Falls Golf Club. Festivals hosted include the Thousand Springs Arts Festival, Twin Falls County Fair and Magic Valley Stampede and the Perrine Bridge Festival.
