For Car Hire in Baraboo and the surrounding area, we can help you here at Find Me a Rental Car.

Baraboo sits on the Baraboo River and was first settled by Abe Wood in 1838, then the town was known as the village of Adams. It wasn't until 1846 that it became the county seat of Sauk County, then in 1852 it was renamed Baraboo and formally incorporated as such in 1882. Baraboo was home to several sawmills early in its history because of its location near the Baraboo and Wisconsin Rivers which was it's primary industry.

Today Baraboo is the largest city in Sauk County and also the county seat for Sauk County, home to the Circus World Museum and is the largest library of circus information in the United States and is best known as the birthplace of the Ringling Brothers Circus. Baraboo is also home to the International Crane Foundation which is an organization dedicated to the study and conservation of the world's 15 species of crane. This perfect little town has a beautiful location and has a little of everything to offer, once you've stopped here you'll always want more from the friendly welcoming locals.
