Burlington is a city in Racine and Walworth counties of Wisconsin, the first European settlers in Burlington were four men who arrived in December 1835 and other settlers started to arrive in the spring and summer of 1836. Then in 1836 the residents of what was then known as Foxville unanimously decided to change their settlement's name to Burlington, however the area was still called Foxville until the official name change in 1839. Burlington was incorporated as a village from 1837 up until 1900 when it became a city.

Today Burlington has the nickname of the "Chocolate City USA" because of the Nestlé chocolate factory being located there and has been there since 1966. This has also created the annual Chocolate Fest which falls on Memorial Day weekend, which if you are around for will have cater for all of you chocolate desires. This lovely city is the perfect spot to stopover and re-charge before heading onto your next destination which it's tranqal setting and location you can do as much or as little as you like with the perfect climet to match.
