Worland is a city in Washakie County, Wyoming and until 1904 had a population of less than 100 people. It was 1903 when a party of surveyors made their way thought the area to determine if a large irrigation project was feasibile and by 1904 the town was in full swing and Camp Worland prospered into a community with a school, church, post office and general store. The heritage and determination of this city continued to drive this friendly, warm and western town into its bright future.

Worland today is still a great place to stop off and recharge with long list of activities for you to take advantage of, from its long and interesting history to the perfect location nestled off the Western slope of the friendly Big Horn Mountains. From this beautiful spot it is an easy drive to or from the Black Hills of South Dakota and Yellowstone National Park, our oldest national park.
